Centre JAX
“Centre JAX” is a first-of-its-kind live-work-play destination for North Florida bringing together professional sports, entertainment, creative workspaces, food and beverage options, hospitality, wellness, residential living, and community gathering spaces into one connected urban environment.
Designed as a walkable, year-round destination, Centre JAX is envisioned as five distinct but interconnected districts centered around a new multi-purpose stadium that will serve as the permanent home of Sporting JAX men’s and women’s professional soccer while also supporting football, lacrosse, rugby, concerts, tournaments, and major community events.
The proposal includes a mix of sports and entertainment venues, student housing, boutique retail, hospitality, wellness and healthcare uses, office space, restaurants, public gathering areas, and future residential neighborhoods designed to create an activated destination unlike anything that currently exists in Jacksonville.
Centre JAX also represents a major opportunity to strengthen connections between the University of North Florida, the Town Center area, surrounding neighborhoods, and the broader North Florida community through thoughtful planning, walkability, and long-term economic investment.
